Again, someone willing to destroy the world to get his way would be satisfied if we give him what he wants THIS TIME, and we are not foolishly ignorant of both history and human nature deluding ourselves thinking we won’t eventually HAVE have to confront him after we have made him stronger?

It would be equally foolish to back that person into a corner to the point that they think that they have nothing to lose by destroying the world.
