Zelenskiy: Hell in Ukraine's Donbas
Reuters via Yahoo ^ | May 20th, 2022 | Unattributed

STORY: Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy says the Donbas region to the southeast has been completely destroyed – as it has become the recent focus of the Russian offensive.

That’s as some of the world’s richest countries pledged billions to give Ukraine a boost. Moscow’s war effort has pulled back its forces from near the capital Kyiv, and moved artillery and armor to the east, which Zelenskiy says is piling on pressure.

“The armed forces of Ukraine continue advancing to liberate the Kharkiv region. But in Donbas, the occupiers are trying to exert even more pressure. It is a hell there. And it is not an exaggeration. Constant strikes on the Odesa region, on the cities of central Ukraine, Donbas is completely destroyed. All this has no and cannot have any military explanation for Russia.”

Desi Cuellar for Congress (NY-14)

Zelenskyy got a standing ovation from the WEF when introduced by Klaus Schwab.
The more you see, the more you realize that Ukraine is just a pawn to help move the world where the WEF wants it to go.

I thought the place was littered with the tanks and electronics vans of fleeing Russians who lay scattered dead on the roads in recognition of the superiority of wester weaponry and knowledge of warfighting.

Azov is not in Odessa. Azov is gone. It doesn’t matter how much NATO arms Ukraine, and with what. It won’t make it to Odessa, and they are getting what’s left of their military pounded to dust slowly every day. Ukraine is running out of cannon fodder. The biggest danger right now is Poland crossing over into Ukraine to help save the day. If they do it, all bets are off. It could go hot for the world in seconds. If there were only a few sane heads in the world today to bring this sh*t show to an end.

The Russians are now using the Colin Powell method of blasting the opponents to bits.

Russia can apply about two million tons of explosive force to the battlefields annually. This is the equivalent of 100 Hiroshima force explosions, annually.

“It won’t make it to Odessa.”

A large percentage will since Odessa is close to the EU. Getting arms to the distant Donbas battlefields will be tougher.

“Ukraine is running out of cannon fodder.”

There are a lot of draft ready Ukrainians. I think all Ukrainian males from 18 to 60 have been called up. This would be about 10 million Ukrainians.

I can’t see Poland officially doing this. However, individual Polish soldiers and pilots might request leave to take care of needy ‘brothers’, which I think will be liberally granted.

Poles can fly F-16s and probably F-35s.

Russia is in Lyman today. Last city on this side of the river.

I heard fairly recently (last 12 hours or so) they were on the northern outskirts, and pounding the town. Zalenskyy finally told his guys to get out of Sievierodonetsk. But when they do, a large part of the Luhansk will be taken by the Russians.

Kharkiv, by the way, is about 60 miles northwest from the Donbas.

Poland is getting sick of Zalenskyy, and also any foreigner that takes part in the fighting risks capture and treatment as a mercenary.

War does tend to mess things up, yes.

Still not worth sending them $40 billion.

Word coming out of Lyman
Some say 500 AFU surrendered.
Waiting for confirmation

Of course, the media will say the AFU agreed to be evacuated.

Russia can apply about two million tons of explosive force to the battlefields annually.

But they had to do it with cheap old fashioned artillery, and not using sophisticated expensive advanced beyond state of the art delivery platforms like we have in the US, the F-35 for instance which boasts and operational readiness availability of 10-20% depending upon whether it is the Naval or Air Force variant.

it’s only getting worse for ukes today Lyman was captured.
Military Summary channel says today is 4th worst day of this conflict.
about another half dozen towns also were captured-see link... (largely due to uke withdrawal)(if Polish troops are on the ground there escalation could be fast, i hope its not true)
