Athens Clarke County is a woke-tard stain on the area. It’s surrounded by very conservative counties. Unfortunately however, liberals are moving in from up north and buying up all the rural property at ridiculously inflated prices causing everyone’s property tax to go up. They are pricing the locals out of the market by paying cash.
Liberal policies has caused most of the large businesses to relocate to nearby Oconee County which has an excellent school system and is run by business-minded conservatives. The University of Georgia, formerly a reasonably conservative system, has also gone woke. If UGA closed down, Athens-Clarke County would have nothing and would soon turn into a slum town.
That is sad to see what has happened to Athens. I worry that the same thing is happening to Tuscaloosa. In fact, just last year the University of Alabama took down the on-campus statue of a Civil War Veteran who had the “audacity” to defend the school library before it was burned down by Union troops during the Civil War. They even found an idiot descendant of this man who celebrated the statues removal. What is even more disgusting is that not one person stood up to defend the legacy of this man. When it comes to sports, College Football is the only thing I watch anymore. However, my enthusiasm is somewhat less than it once was and was on full display when I was not nearly as pissed off as should have been when Georgia beat Alabama for the National Championship last year. This woke cult infecting our country is destroying everything and that includes many areas much more important than sports.
NY Times recently came out with a story claiming Hershel paid for a woman’s abortion then sent her a get well card with $700 in it. He denied it all last night on Hannity. And apparently his creepy homosexual son who used to supposedly get along well with Hershel has now changed his mind about him, calling him a liar and fraud and terrible father who ran around on his mother. The boy also claims to be conservative and MAGA, which is a joke.
It would be sad to have a POS son like that. I thank God that my kids are not like that.
