I think you may be right about that, Viv. I think they probably go along with the groupthink zeitgeist, as they perceive it anyway, and their morality and intellectual probing go no deeper than that.

It's like: "Everybody I know thinks that; so it must be true."

Oh how desperately America needs brilliant, deep thinkers of unyielding integrity on the Supreme Court and elsewhere!
