I would think SCOTUS would wait for the final opinion day to release their final decision on this case. Because then they can have their bags packed and immediately get the heck out of Dodge.
I think they’re releasing it early to let the steam off the protests at their homes. Nothing to protest anymore; what’s done is done kind of thing.
I was thinking the same. My guess is that the timing correlates with the Memorial Holiday weekend.
