The House voted Thursday to pass Democrats’ bill aimed at combating “price gouging” on gasoline.
The bill passed 217-207, with no Republicans voting for it and four Democrats voting against it: Reps. Stephanie Murphy (Fla.), Lizzie Fletcher (Texas), Kathleen Rice (N.Y.) and Jared Golden (Maine).

Directive 10-289
A bunch of brain dead Biden democrats sitting around and one says ‘Let’s attack oil companies’ - that should get the oil flowing...
Right up there with let’s spend trillions to lower inflation...
No one can be this stupid... it’s got to be intentional...
Let’s party like it’s 1973!
Yep. Americans are stupid. They also send out mixed messages.
Killing babies = Good
Hungry babies = Bad
It must just be the loud crying that matters?
Get ready for the gas lines and empty signs at the stations.

...or even/odd car license plate numbers allowed to lineup at the gas pumps on certain days.
We don’t need price gouging legislation. Especially since we’re already dealing with an economic disaster brought on by some VERY wrong decisions by the FJB administration.
The need to keep their communist supporters believing that capitalism is the root of all our problems.
Peruse any leftwing forum and you will see the tirades against capitalism. When you point out industries (such as oil and healthcare) are heavily regulated by gov’t, they dismiss that.
The government is an Ass.
And with these looming shortages, we'll have even higher prices. Didn't any of these geniuses ever take Econ 101, i.e. the law of supply and demand?
It won't actually go anywhere and do anything, but it will allow the lying 'rats to lie about where the blame lies for the record energy prices.
(This is all basic economics supply/demand stuff -- it's a shame they don't teach this stuff in school any more instead of requiring the naming all 57 genders.)
Designed to further guarantee a fuel shortage.
Let’s just be thankful they aren’t trying to treat a cold. Their solution would be to perform open heart surgery.
Let’s party like it’s 1973!

All we need now are bell bottom jeans, platform shoes, lava lamps, peace symbols, tie-dye shirts, and the return of Afros.
First prosecutions will charged to any and all in the Rat party. Right? Potato Joe on down.
My vote would be to Hank Reardon. Until Jankowicz departed, she would have been my nominee for Dr. Floyd Ferris.
Her district used to include the wealthiest neighborhoods and the so-called Energy Corridor, but was just gerrymandered to the south, giving River Oaks, Memorial, Katy, and the Energy Corridor back to Republican representation.
Her new district includes the liberal Montrose and Rice University sections that used to be in Dan Crenshaw's district (Crenshaw moved northwest to take over The Woodlands), plus the Asian and Hispanic sections of Ft. Bend County.

Or is that racist?
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument
There's nothing stopping election year, desperate, alleged election stealing Democrats and RINOs from passing a bill to allow oil companies to resume Trump-era pumping of oil to lower gas prices, and then to veto an expected Biden veto of such a bill.
But Democrats are arguably planning to end their government-manufactured (imo) supply line crisis in October so that they can claim victory for their failed economic policies in time for Election Day imo.
Insights welcome.
And speaking of election year, patriots are also reminded that they must vote twice this election year. Your first vote is to primary career RINO incumbents. Your second vote is to replace outgoing Democrats and RINOs with Trump-endorsed candidates.
Again, insights welcome.
I had to show a family member the average profit (not revenue) of oil companies for a gallon of fuel versus what the gooberment takes per gallon. I may have opened some eyes, but not likely.
