The product she was caught with is legal in AZ and several other states. She possibly broke state and definitely broke federal law before she even left the US. Once she got on a plane things get Federal. She needs to face charges when she gets back.

You have to read the words carefully. She is called “a leader in our Phoenix community”. It might well be a reference to the black lesbian Phoenix community, which isn’t much of a community at all.
