Somehow, I think the claim of not guilty by reason of insanity is going to be a tad more difficult to convince a jury of when the perp is a doctoral student.
It’s not that intelligent people can’t have mental health issues, but rather that someone with mental health issues does not seem likely to be able to hold life together enough to be a doctoral student.

I guess a cop has little choice in how he carries his gun. It has to be left unsecured and always ready to be pulled out in the line of duty.
