Corrupt contracting practices
No one is forcing you to buy a $28 beer. Just say NO.
Beer in plastic containers?
Something about that just doesn’t sound right.
If you don’t like the price, don’t buy it.
Does the concessionaire pay a premium for the location? If so then some upcharge is inevitable.
Must be Chayma beer.

There are multiple reasons why beer doesn’t do well in plastic
Another reason LaGuardia sucks.
OTG, which operated the restaurant that sold the beer, had overly charged 25 customers
I am surprised that 25 people actually paid for a beer that cost that much. Shows the power of an expense account.
Also, the complaint came in LAST YEAR. Only the government could wait months and then congratulate themselves on noticing the theft.
And what was the guy doing, that was supposed to be in charge of reviewing concessions at the Port Authority? After all, I can guarantee that they wouldn't have waited months (years?) if OTG didn't forward them the Port Authority's share of proceeds.
Any bets on whom OTG management is connected to, at City Hall?
No.more than 10% above street prices? Does that apply to prices of. Concessions at stadiums as well? There are some eye popping prices at ball parks.
It’s NYC, guaranteed corruption.
PGA AT Southern Hills CC in tulsa this week will be getting $18 for a mich ultra $19 for a cocktail, $13 wine & $6 water. $8 hot dogs
” He also alleged that the restaurant was charging a “10% recovery fee.”
Was that for the bathroom?
Never been to college?
Exactly. It’s different for truly essential items, but even then de facto price controls do not work . . . in other words, watch the beer shrink.
‘” He also alleged that the restaurant was charging a “10% recovery fee.”
Was that for the bathroom?’
Just hope its not the cost of getting it back in the bottle for the next guy...
“Nobody should have to fork over such an exorbitant amount for a beer.”
Hey Kevin, no one is forcing them to buy a beer...
Why 28? why not 500?
