How come we NEVER hear of a crime control bill being offered by anyone anymore. Biden runs away from the ONLY good thing he was a part of, the 1994 Crime bill. It is the largest crime bill in the history of the United States and consisted of 356 pages that provided for 100,000 new police officers, $9.7 billion in funding for prisons, and $6.1 billion in funding for prevention programs, which were designed with significant input from experienced police officers.
The only part of it that wasn’t very good was the “assault weapons” ban, which really didn’t prevent people from buying and selling weapons already here in the US, and forced some cosmetic modifications to other weapons then being made here. Interestingly enough, the “assault weapons” ban didn’t affect the SKS rifle, but the bayonet had to be taken off so as to prevent all the drive-by bayonettings then taking place./s

Because Democrats realized that too many Democrat voters were getting banned from voting for life when they got convicted of felonies, and Republicans are too afraid of being called “racist” for advocating locking up Democrat voters.
