I couldn’t get the article to load (my computer is that old). Anyway, I wonder how many of these types of home invasions are drug addicts raiding the homes of people who are known to have drugs themselves.
I’m not saying that’s the case here.
We don't have too many home invasions in our county but the ones we've had the past few years usually involve a home known to be frequented by folks involved in some way with drugs.
They also target places where they expect to find money or sellable property.
Reminds me of a case many years ago over in Indian Territory when two men invaded a house planning to rob it.
It just so happened the person in the house had just cleaned and loaded his rifle, and still had it in his hands when they burst through the door.
