And the swamp that is the national and state GOPE keeps showing why the electorate can’t stand them...

The absolute smear campaign launched against this woman in the last few days is amazing...

If only the republicans fought against democrats 1/2 as hard as they do against anyone who isn’t their establishment chosen, imagine what this world would be like...

I won’t support Oz every, period... If he’s the nominee, I won’t hold my nose and vote for him. I’m done putting frauds and Rinos and fair weather conservatives into office.

Have held my nose to vote for ever PA Senate candidate they have offered since 1990, I won’t do it any more... If that mean the dems get the seat so be it. Work to get a better candidate to run against them next time rather than be stuck with a RINO/UNIPARTY/FRAUD for decades...

GOP of PA is a swamp... I am not playing their games any longer... if you are fine putting another Wall Street Bush Repunblican or Specter/Toomey/Santorum fraud into office by all means, do so.

Me I’m done, the GOP of PA will not change its tune unless its forced to, and capitulating to people who have stated publicly they believe Gun Control is a health care issue, or advocate for trans kids, etc etc etc are non starters for me. I’m done.

I hope Barnette pulls off the upset, but if she doesn’t, that’s fine, just don’t expect my support for Oz this fall, not going to happen, and I know I’m not alone.... I have yet to meet anyone, Republican or Independent that is excited in any way about OZ... even the GOP folks who say they will vote for him, have no real argument for supporting him other than the ‘most electable” drivel.

Personally, and honestly I see only 1 calculus that has Oz or McCormick winning the general against Fetterman, and that’s IF the damage Biden and the Economy have done to the Dem brand is so bad that a ham sandwhich would win as long as it has an R by its name.

There is a red wave coming, but (and have been saying this for months) if there is a race I won’t be surprised bucks this trend, is the PA senate race if Oz or McCormick are the nominee. Fetterman will eat either of them for breakfast and crap them out by lunch.

Her complete answer was a far cry from "refuses to support GOP nominee for senate if it is not her."

That's for sure.

If the Trump era showed anything, it’s that the party does just fine with the RINOs, but that the GOP doesn’t really do anything much for its voters.

Back in the 90’s, I lived in David Dreier’s district in Los Angeles. Every two hears, he would show up in the district to campaign, and year after year the biggest issue that got raised was “immigration”. He would nod his head, and then go back to Washington and stab his voters in the back. I remember one year talking to him and asking him about this, and his answer was always that speaking to the businesses in his district, they all told him that they couldn’t survive without “immigration” (illegal, of course).

We have been played for suckers for years by the uniparty establishment.

That said, the Republican party is the only vehicle that can even conceivably be used at this point to advance a right/populist agenda, but the establishment types are going to have to be driven out in the primaries. It’s a longshot, and some of those candidates are going to be a little rough around the edges, but is there any other way?

Only way to save the country is to eradicate establishment R’s and replace with maga people.

Sometimes its easier to replace a democrat with our guy then an incumbent R. No way Mitch will ever get primary’d out, for instant.

Barnett’s real Dem past is rapidly catching up with her;
No degree from Troy state
No adjunct professor at some school called Judson
No Advisor to two major Financial firms
No info on OCS
Voted for Obama and then for Hitlery against Trump

Others will say people whining about her, such as you, are insufferably boorish and boring, and those are the better ones.

Exactly and you are not alone...

Folks who think OZ can win, Are just completely out of touch with PA (if they have connection to it at all)..

McCormick is a Wall Street/Bush Republican. Oz is well, basically a celebrity trying to sell himself as an Amrerica First conservative, and the PA GOP electorate after 60 Million spent by both of them ain’t buying either of them...

But in the general, the general somehow miraculously either of them can win? Not going to happen.

OZ will get the low information suburban women who watched his show and “like” him to vote for him, but he won’t remotely get the turnout in the T needed to get a W... nor will McCormick. Both cases they are Generic R candidates, and they will be facing a VERY STRONG D candidate in Fetterman.

PA calculus is simple, Generic R vs Generic D, and D will win nearly ever time... Generic R vs Strong D, and D is almost a certainty unless the overall climate is such that any R would win.

Oz will not remotely get the support he needs in the rural and smaller town and cities in PA to win.. Especially when stood up against Fetterman (Neither will mccormic). The Establishment (and their mouthpieces) are stupidly thinking with OZ, we’ll get our standard GOP turnout and his celebrity will push him over the top. They don’t see, or choose not to see, that Oz will alienate a huge chunk of their base.. he’s not acceptable to a large majority of them and a non starter... they won’t hold nose in November and vote for him, they won’t.

Not only that but the large number of disenfranchised voters that Trump engaged and got to show up in 16 and 20, are not going to show up for Oz or McCormick. Combine this with the fact that Fetterman is the real deal, he absolutely owns a room, and has spent decades fighting in the trenches for his beliefs, even if his beliefs are not ones I agree with... he, unlike Oz or Fetterman isn’t just showing up and saying Hey, I have lots of money and/or fame, vote for me. He gets in front of the people of this state juxatposed against Oz or McCormick, he’ll win the middle handily. You think the blue collar dirt under their fingernail voters that make up the vast majority of the GOP electorate and are absolutely needed to show up in large numbers to win are going to pick Oz or McCormick over Fetterman, you are a fool IMHO.

IF the red wave is large enough then the R will win no matter what, however, if it isn’t, Fetterman will own this race from pretty much start to finish.

Oz’s celebrity won’t carry him to the finish line... hell it couldn’t even carry him to the primary... took Trump jumping in to save him at the last minute just in the primary, and he still may lose that.

OZ will be to PA what Romney was nationally... Won’t perform any better than an average GOP candidate, and probably under perform.

There is no other way out but people don’t seem to grasp that we have run out of time.
If we keep re-electing Assistant Democrats, we will lose our country.

Recently re-elected Amnesty Sens. Cornyn, Tillis and Grahamnesty are putting their Amnesty Gang back together.

They need us to re-elect their Amnesty Senator pals Hoeven and Rubio and voters seem willing to do just that.

You are asleep at the wheel. This clown show in PA has the MAGA person being rejected by most here. When the leader of the Ultra Maga group endorses someone that makes him MAGA.

(even though he will be as bad as Romney)

You’re not only a Barnette thread stalker, you’re a liar.

All that background stuff you claim is ‘missing’ can be found right here on FR without too much effort.

“Sometimes its easier to replace a democrat with our guy then an incumbent R. “

Very good point. At least we will only have the democrat for one term.

I’m stuck behind enemy lines in CA. I am not focused on PA.

I was stating a fact, not about specific candidates.

All I know is Oz is going to be at best a RINO, and I wouldn’t vote for him.

I agree with her. A vote for a Rino is a vote for a Democrap. It takes the seat off of the table for decades. NOBODY is going to primary and win a seat against an incumbent from the same party. It JUST ...DOES ...NOT ...HAPPEN, but rarely.

Club For Growth endorsed Barnette? Hoo boy, glad I’m not in PA and have to make that primary choice. Maybe that’s why Trump chose Oz.

I’m fine with that. Trump has the perspective that he’ll need a congress to work with and only Repukes will work with him that’s why he thinks it’s imperative to hold the seat so he’s going with who he thinks is a safer bet (he may be right). From my perspective I don’t think having a Repuke Senate will solve anything. I’m fine with Trump getting his way and his favored candidate wins because the media will hate it. I don’t feel it’s the imperative to hold the Senate that Trumpa thinks it is however.

Two words, judicial confirmations. Holding the senate means there will be much less of a chance of more leftist activist judges.
