I go the other way on this issue, I think Exxon/Mobil should give California what they want and immediately HALT ALL Sales and Shipments to California, Shut down all their refineries in the State, then require all Out of State customers to sign a Terms of Use Agreement that disallow and sales or shipments to the state.

Why all Businesses do not leave California is beyond. The Government has shown over and over that they are not wanted nor appreciated. Perhaps some enjoy being humiliated and forced to grovel at the feet of the Government.

“Why all Businesses do not leave California is beyond.”

CA is simply awash in money.

There’s so much money here I’m surprised there’s any anywhere else.

Filthy, stinkin’ rich.

People and companies put up with a lot of sh!t to access a portion of it.

No desalination plant for hunnington

No trucking from ports iwth trucks more than 3 years old

No hauling oil on a temporary basis

If the state got what it deserves the energy shortage would end.

“High taxes do that”

I’m referring to the civil society upon which the commie government feeds.

It’s wallerin’ in money.

Take a drive up El Camino Real from San Jose to San Francisco and be stunned. It’s almost a fairy tale land.

So you are saying you’d like the national price of gasoline to rise from $4.38 to 9$? and diesel to rise from $6 to 12? And food prices to triple?

Excellent idea, that’ll show ‘em!

So, with all the technological advancement in horizontal drilling / fracking, I can just see, someday, someone drilling off the Kalifornia coast, and tapping into all the oil and natural gas. And, I envision some drinking water entrepreneurs setting up large ships with desalination. Kalifornia just canceled desalination on land, so ‘offshore desalination’ could become a growth industry. I also just read that the country of Chile is in a long term drought. Chile also has 100s of miles of coastline, with billions and billions of gallons of water right off their coast.

Countries like Israel take advantage of LARGE bodies of water to hydrate their citizens. Kalifornia democRATS could solve the ‘drought’ in many, many ways, but if no natural crisis develops, the RATS will do their best to manufacture an issue. A massive amount of snow melts into water every year, and the democRATS are determined that most of that water NEVER reach any human. Instead of building more water storage, they are trying to destroy many of the dams that exist today.

It would be great to live long enough to see how historians write up the democRAT mental disorders. Besides the water situation, while China, India, and others build hundreds and hundreds of coal plants, while France builds more and more nuclear energy plants, the USA does the opposite.

” dozens of tanker trucks a day until replacement of a pipeline that burst in 2015,”

7 years on it’s still not repaired? Let me guess. An endangered spotted newt, that ONLY lives next to the pipeline, has halted any and all repairs.

If they did this, the Nazi’s that run this godforsaken tarnished cesspool of a State would fold and give up in less than 3 days

Just call them thugs because that’s what they do: steal from you to enrich themselves one way or another. They use politics as a tool to trick and deceive the public over feel good causes, but their real aim is power and wealth. Every state has some of these characters, but CA seems to be a breeding ground.
