No, I understand the origin of “Amish.” But everybody now knows exactly what it means, and it’s ugly. We shouldn’t be doing it.

I agree. It's silly and, honestly, smacks of a certain pussification to call things as they are.

People say "Amish" because they don't have the balls to say "blacks".

Although, on the other interwebs outside of Free Republic, people are using the term "Magic Americans" or "Basketball Americans" in place of this.

I use the term “royals” or “royal blood”.

The reason—if the rules that apply to other people don’t apply to you or you get special treatment just because of your genetic lineage, then you are royalty.
