Exactly, my thoughts also that he cut off use of existing drugs which work!
That was, also, my first thought. If he hadn't insisted that the ONLY remedy was his shot, we could have been using theraputics to help people in the early stages of the disease. Of course, he wouldn't have gotten any kickbacks from theraputics they way he did from the "shot".
