They think food just appears in the grocery store by magic—no transportation needed.

The other 18% do not drive. They do not understand that the price of diesel fuel effects the price of literally everything that they purchase.

Everything ships on a boat, train or truck.
They do not understand that ALL plastic comes from Petroleum or Natural Gas.

Basically, they just do not understand the concept of why things cost what they do or where they come from.

No kidding. Rising gas prices affects pretty much everything. Cost of travel, cost of food, ect...
