Well, you can't really blame the little snowflakes. At the store, they see this, so they think 9=36...
My sister is at the end of her career as a junior high and high school math teacher. In her 45 years, she has seen the USA go from #1 globally in math results to #38. That happened in less than two generations!
But we are #1 in self esteem.
