Putin Says DPR, LPR Military Fight for Liberation From Nazis as Did Their Ancestors
Sputnik News ^ | 5/8/22

The servicemen of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) are fighting alongside the Russian military, who have been taking part in the special military operation in Ukraine since 24 February. President Vladimir Putin stressed that the operation was aimed at ending the "genocide" of the Donbass people.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated the people of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) amid the 77th anniversary of the Soviet Union's WWII victory against the Third Reich. He stressed that the DPR and LPR military are currently fighting to be liberated from Nazism just like their ancestors had done in the Great Patriotic War.

The president also expressed confidence that just like in 1945, the people of the Donbass will prevail and be victorious.

In his holiday messages to other countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Putin stressed the need to prevent the re-emergence of Nazism, which brought so much suffering and woe in the past to people in many countries.

"We have to preserve and pass on to our posterity the truth about the events of [World War II], our common spiritual values and traditions of fraternal friendship", Putin said in his message to other leaders.

The soldiers of the DPR and LPR are fighting alongside Russian troops against the Ukrainian military and neo-Nazi battalions. Russian President Vladimir Putin authorised the use of the country's forces as a part of the special military operation, which he justified by citing the need to protect the Donbass republics.

Putin argued that the people of the DPR and LPR have been subjected to the "genocide" by "Kiev's regime", which was "hijacked" by nationalists and neo-Nazis after the West-backed coup in 2014. He added that Russia could no longer stay indifferent and was forced to intervene.....

It’s funny that the mods will allow all these threads on Ukraine. But they pull any about 2000 Mules immediately? They say to post on existing threads, but never provide a link to any. Nor are there any new threads in breaking news or Front Page News. I must say, I’m pretty frustrated by this behavior. Are they intentionally trying to stop all discussion of this important movie?

Putin is waging the Great Patriotic War for the Reunification of the Motherland. Whether its victims want reunification or not.

Who will stand with the people of the free republics of Donetsk, Luhansk, and Crimea who feel that they were cheated when their Democratically elected President Yanukovich was illegally deposed by armed militants? This should not, and cannot, happen in a democracy? Who will defend democracy and the right to vote from those who steal elections and overthrow the constitution?

“The soldiers of the DPR and LPR are fighting alongside Russian troops against the Ukrainian military and neo-Nazi battalions.”

Putin of course fails to mention that they are fighting alongside at least 2 neo-nazi battallions under command of the Russians, meaning that the Russian army seems to have twice as many nazis as the Ukrainians.

These are days old and I’m not interested in how to watch it, I’m interested in a discussion on it. A good thread was just posted for that very reason. The mods immediately pulled it as I was posting to it. That pisses me off.

EPIC POST BY PATRIOTFURY OBLIRATING THESE IDIOTIC LIES:

It is really sad, but there is no question conservatives today really do not have direct and detailed enough knowledge, or accurate non-revisionist historical knowledge critical to Eastern European events (or globally), which “set the table” for what we see happening now back in the mid 1980’s and into the 1990’s.

As well, the 1980’s and early 1990’s ultimately triggered what was really another high level cold war spat, and semi-kinetic proxy war between the US and Moscow in the former Yugoslavia going into the 2000’s.

It was a convenient and near universal and legendary conservative default belief, but the “blue dress” really was not behind our engagement in Yugoslavia. But that is for another time. (Albeit it should never ha e happened)

The fact that Ukraine was one of the single biggest causes (on multiple fronts, including the rise of Lech Walesa in Poland), in forcing the USSR/CCCP to transition into a Russian Federation with its subordinate CIS, (the plan of which was born no later than 1978-1979), began unfolding in the early 1980’s), helping to cause the USSR’s loss of totalitarian control over the Warsaw Pact, and ultimately resulted in nearly a 120 quiet US friendly ranking Ukrainian KGB and UA-CCP officials from Kiev (and their families being hunted down by RU KGB/FSB and GRU, and murdered.

Most were murdered in UA between 1987 to 1997. A few were murdered abroad (not in UA).

In a nutshell, those UA officials who opposed forced membership in the Kremlin controlled/subordinated CIS were eliminated - before CIS was created, during its formal formation in 1991, and within four to five years after UA had already been forced into the subordinate CIS.

While this was happening, Clinton was fully embracing and supporting all things Kremlin policy, like many “conservatives” across America today, no matter what the Kremlin does.

Early UA efforts to break free from Moscow -

There were actually two significant quiet attempts in UA, really spanning between 1987-1993, and one not so quiet, to try and break from subordination to the Kremlin and.to become independent. These too resulted in more bloodshed and polotocal assassinations, subsequent, and somewhat careful installation of at least quietly Kremlin aligned UA political figures.

Notably, until US President Trump, these have always included pro-Kremlin UA governance over UA resources and strategic materials.

As happened across the Warsaw Pact (and worse in UA) post WWII, from 1991 to 2012, UA was dominated by proactive FSB thuggery, coercion, threat of death, and “Destabilization by Corrupt Methods (DCM).

One of the single greatest problems UA faced through the 1990’s was the direct result of leftist, Pro Kremlin, US administration and politicians (Clinton.and predominantly the DNC).

UA knew the West would give almost anything to Moscow, including near full cooperation on RU domestic and foreign policy within its sphere, and beyond.

At the same time UA desperately needed and sought many relationships with “Western” political leaders, and large corporations, often in violation of its CIS subordination to Moscow.

It is well documented (from Russian sources and Russian documentary), just as they have been all.along across Latin America, the GRU and FSB have long been using well trained terror and assassination operatives (including GRU/FSB trained and funded RU neo-Nazi’s since at least 2007 in UA), as well as global psychological operations against UA. This has only increased in intensity from 1991 to the present.

I ha e seen many videos like this one, where almost none of the actual history, and most of the literal context of past and recent history are near completely missing, where the embrace of the narrative depends on the knowledge of western historical illiteracy, or of the targeted western viewership.

As it is a known variable that human pride does not allow for one to accept they are wrong, when through ignorance the proud embrace propaganda, they can only become arrogant robotic disciples and exponential purveyors of the author’s strategic goal.

Truly sad...

Why of course the leader of a country who jails and murders political opponents before they can even run against him in elections. He will always stand up for Democracy.

Right, like Putin brought more democracy to Crimea(which was semi-autonomous under Ukraine).

That is exactly what is happening.

We fomented a revolution in 2014 that set off a civil war. We trained and funded neo-Nazis Azovs that terrorized the ethnically Russian population.

You're the one repeating Biden regime propaganda. He and Obama's polices in Ukraine set all this off.

And, yes, Putin far more credible than Biden regime.
