Giving such a controversial issue out of the hands of the authoritarians and back to the voters in each state is extremist - to an authoritarian.
Liberté, égalité, fraternité, that motto harks back to the days of the French Revolution. When in reality, liberté meant not “liberty”, but “libertine”, égalité meant not “equality”, but “some are more equal than others”, and fraternité meant not “brotherhood”, but more like “fratricide”.
Command-and-control people are much the same all over the world, redefining words to fit their version of “reality”.
Yeah, I was thinking that you can really tell who the socialists are because they absolutely cringe at the thought of state rights.
