I'm from PA, where Trump endorsed Oz, a Muslim, globalist, RINO for Toomey's U.S. Senate seat. Bear in mind that there are solid conservative, America-first, Christian republicans running for the Toomey seat.
There was a Trump rally last night in western PA where Trump had people with Oz signs sitting in the camera background. When Oz spoke the cameras panned for a short time into the crowd and there was ZERO excitement, animation or applause. PA MAGA republicans do not support Oz - period!
All I can say is that Trump DOESN'T know how to pick em!
I haven’t been exposed to Dr. Oz as a candidate much. I made sure to watch his speech for that reason. I noticed he did choose his words very carefully, which I didn’t care for and made me wonder about how trustworthy he is, though it could just be that he’s working on becoming a politician. The crowd wasn’t highly animated, but I did think he came off pretty well at the end of the day and I think the crowd did as well.
IMHO, if he was truly the enemy a lot here think he is, he wouldn’t have lowered himself to even attend that rally. My impression is that some are judging him far too harshly for things like talk show topics.
I get frustrated with Trump when he tells me to vote for enemy GOPe politicians, but when it comes to Oz, I don’t see how it really benefits him to run on a fake platform as a ruse. Maybe I’m missing something, but the criticisms of him sound awfully reminiscent of the ones made against Trump by people like Mark Levin.
Sometimes, people play the game until they just can’t take it anymore and decide enough is enough. We’ve all been duped a lot, so it’s understandable to be skeptical though.
No offense meant. I’m not even from PA, so my opinion is largely irrelevant anyway.
