I flew last week, ~85% wore no mask. Even those that did seemed to be lax about it, pulling it down for periods.
A passenger next to me was mainly wearing one, which was appreciated as he had TERRIBLE bad breath. Every time he removed it...ugh - but I couldn’t care less otherwise.
My response to anyone that asks, “micrometer protection doesn’t stop nanometer viruses”. There’s zero evidence wearing them had any meaningful effect on cases.
We were traveling through the Adirondacks today, in the middle of absolute NOWHERE, during a beautiful sunny, clear, breezy day with virtually no one else around, and we saw a woman walking to her car masked up.
Words fail me at that point.
I cannot fathom how someone can live in that kind of bondage to fear.
You are why I travel with a lavender-infused hanky...just in case. 😆
Trust me,there’s no good way to ask me to wear a mask. The FIRST time someone asks me to wear a mask, if im in a good mood,I’ll probably respond,
“No thank you, I’m breathing”
Any follow up request will be met with a loud,
“Don’t touch me there!!!”

MY ANSWER: Sure would love to help out. But first, please supply me with at least 2 randomized trials that show they work for viruses.... cause I have 16 that show they don’t.
