If there’s still value left they haven’t gone woke enough.
Well, that’s a start...
Sadly, the parks are probably still fully ‘packed’ with folks who don’t care or are gleefully unaware.
Pedophiles and their Lincoln project allies hardest hit.
For Disney Florida, their self drawn trouble is far from over. Just at the Top of the roller coaster…..and the ride always finishes at the bottom.
Even worse are those that are attending the parks, know about Disney’s stance, and agree with it because they have been successfully reeducated.
Change “Space Mountain” to “LGBTQ Mountain”!! That’ll fix it!
Get woke go broke.
....amazing how long it takes for the obvious insidiousness of that corporation to filter down to the general public...now it is time to financially and socially destroy Disney. ESPN, Hulu, ABC,marvel, star wars...if there is one lesson we learned from covid, it is that entertainment is not completely necessary during free time.. Certainly not corporate deceivers like Dizzney.
Sell! Sell! Sell!
I love to start the day with a hot cup of coffee and a heart warming story.
While I dislike Disney a lot, this loss is largely due to other factors. Yes, it has taken a bad PR hit, but the capitalization loss cannot be blamed entirely on wokeness. I wish it could.
Disney, like many of these other multimedia companies, is learning just how much the internet has interrupted the viewers' mindsets of watching the Least Objectional Program (LOP).
The theory of the Least Objectionable Program (LOP) is a mediological theory postulated in the 1960s which explained television audience behavior.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Least_objectionable_program
"TV viewers turn the set on, deciding to "watch television", and then seek out something to watch from what is available, flipping around, not until they find "something they like" - because television programming is in fact very rarely satisfying, and viewers rarely watch anything they actually like - but until they find something that doesn't offend them enough to make them flip to the next channel. (Viewers almost never turn off the set as a result of finding nothing tolerable and judging every program available boring or otherwise objectionable. Viewers commonly watch programs they describe later as unbearable, everything else on being even more intolerable. A more common response to a whole spectrum of equally unendurable choices than choosing to abandon the medium is to continue to flip frequently until new choices become available.)"
“Shares of Disney have plummeted 23.5 percent since the start of March.”
Wow. That’s an interesting stat — almost 25% in one month, after their pedophilia tactics became clear.
“this loss is largely due to other factors. “
True, if you consider the loss over a full year. But 25% in the last month?
Another 50% and Trump can buy it.
I know somebody who’s spending a boatload of money down there right now with his 5 yo granddaughter.
He’s conservative but I think it was driven by other family members. 🙄
Probably lots of situations like that.
Good! I hope they lose 63 billion more!
