I’m really talking more about the people in the media, i.e. Fox, all the politicians he helped, all the military families and others he visited etc.
He and his wife had class.
I’m not going to compare him to Christ other than to say, I can’t think of any other president in my life time, or any I’ve read about, even Lincoln who were attacked as much as he was, and from all sides.
I loathe the people in our party who betrayed him.
But, you know, his next victory will be the sweetest, if he’s healthy enough to run again.
And he’ll e a lot smarter too.

Likely he'll have to be. The press and the USA haters would rather see us burned at the stake than see him and us win.
In April of 1990, I traveled from Texas to Washington DC to attend the Rally For Life on the Washington Monument Grounds of the National Mall. VP Dan Quayle addressed the crowd of 700,000 that day, who came from all over the US to show their support for Life. That solidarity has paid off now with the SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v Wade.
