I had a partial nephrectomy of a kidney Feb. 14, 2022. Recovery involved days and days of acute pain and about six weeks to return to “normal”.

My understanding is that “abdominal” cancer is much more complicated.

If so, Putin will be out for weeks. Plenty of time for his internal enemies to make their moves.

I suspect the temporary handing over of power could be for PR reasons. He doesn’t want himself to be the face of the war any more. Whether he will return to power some day is another matter.

I had it. Ended up with an ostomy bag. Then adhesions from hell that kept me on the operating table for 8 hours while they cut them all out.

It all depends upon location and stage.
