IMO the greatest stain on JFK was his handling of the Bay of Pigs. Other than that he is probably—cancel—definitely the best Democratic president in my life. 100x better than the figure head Alzheimer’s riddled old man we have now.
Although to be fair all I remember is what I’ve read of him as I was a toddler when he was shot.
On Che..never did understand why those indoctrinated children of yuppies in the early 2000s all wore his image. To be honest I don’t think they did either.
That’s a good meme in your link. Thanks.
You missed Obama’s election headquarters picture of Che Guevara.
Do you have/know a link showing Che executing young women? It will
“ definitely the best Democratic president in my life. 100x better than the figure head Alzheimer’s riddled old man we have now.”
Exactly what did he do to make him what you describe above?
I was 8 years old when he was shot.
I believe he was the first media produced politician. He was handsome, tall and had a way with the ladies that made the male media jealous. I remember the adults talking about Nixon sweating on the TV debate while Kennedy looked cool as a cucumber. TV engineered “magic” that people had never witnessed before. Color TV was brand new as were televised political debates.
All phony, engineered images accompanied by highly scripted public relations ploys. And please don’t forget the massive voter fraud associated with his election, I actually witnessed as a grandson of a dimocRAT PCO.
After writing this, I think I will concede to your point. JFK was the best dimocRAT president since 1960, he was only in office a little over 1000 days, not long enough to screw much up, although as this article illustrates, he was on his way to being a typical dimocRAT president.
I’d say the greatest stain on JFK was stealing the Presidency, period. A President Nixon (1961-69) would’ve overthrown Castro and restored freedom to Cuba, and ditto that for Viet Nam. By the time he got in 8 years later, it was largely too late to repair the damage JFK/LBJ’s bungling incompetence had caused.
