Unfortunately a totally inappropriate analogy.
Trump is responsible for nominating Barr, Wray, and Kavanaugh. He did a lot of great things as President, and as far as I am concerned they should rename the Nobel Peace Prize in his honor. But he also made a lot of poor appointments to important positions. And he gave the medal of freedom to Elvis Presley, instead of Thomas Sowell. You Trump-can-do-no-wrong people should try to be be more objective about the man.
But the supply of people with the education or experience background who can also get approved by a corrupt Congress is very thin, if not nonexistent. The Congress is sending multiple billions to our enemies around the world, but would not give him five B for a border wall, and spent countless taxpayer dollars fighting his every initiative in courts and media outlets all across the country, every single day of his campaign, presidency and post-presidency.
You want to blame a person who came from outside the Swamp for not realizing how totally, completely corrupt it would be? Okay. It's only because of him that a minority of our brainwashed American populace have any idea of it at all.

I think a lot of these RINOs really believe Trump lost and there was no significant cheating.
They really believe man-made climate change is going to destroy the planet.
They really believe China is our friend.
They really believe you are whatever sex you choose.
They are Democrats who happen to call themselves Republicans - but they are Democrats.
And remember, Democrats are stupid - they believe stupid things.

Perhaps President Trump thought he’d be competent enough to do the job. Same with Sessions. He had no idea they’d be actively working to deliberately and willfully undermine his administration.
