I do not pretend it is bold. It is just my opinion based on what little I know. I don't think that Ukraine can stop Russia altogether. I do believe that Ukraine had been lobbing missles into areas that were claiming independence.

Easy enough to make facile recommendations like that when it isn't your country!

It is also easy for Zelensky to suggest our involvement when the USA and NATO states aren't his country, either. I'd like the shooting in both directions to stop. If Ukraine wants to fight to the last man, that's her prerogative.

Zelenskyy has "skin in the game," and is therefore entitled to cry for help, disparage fecklessness, etc.
