That doesn’t make you more special than any other American who was born here and lost their lives fighting wars.

We are no longer that country and if you haven’t taken notice, you will really soon. Turning a blind eye to the loss of free speech and the treatment of protestors on jan 6th should be a real eye opener. People who did nothing wrong have been in the DC Gulag well over a year, some without charges and punished worse than murderers for just being there that day.

This proxy war provoked by that braindead slug in the WH was totally unnecessary because it was provoked to further that retarded agenda of the followers of Schwab and Soros. Yeh right “we needed a war to weaken Russia and regime change”. Totally ignorant comments by Austin and Sloppy Joe that will do real harm to American citizens. They are not American patriots. They want world government and anyone in their way will be eliminated. They also don’t care who has to die to get what they want. Ukrainian people? Meh

We need regime change for sure. Right here in what used to be a free country.

Many people who have families or have come here from other totalitarian countries are already warning Americans that they see what is coming and are very disturbed about it.

I might also add that the Sun news out of the UK is a filthy propaganda rag just like Daily Mail. I guarantee you Lavrov did talk about the escalation in Ukraine after the visit of Blinken and Austin, but the headline used nukes to make people more angry and agitated. As we know, using this idiotic tactic lead many to believe a false flag is coming even if it isn’t.

The US under Biden has had to admit they have been lying about threats. How pathetic. They always have to lie.

Yet it is NATO which has expanded into Russian orbit over the last 50 years. A time period where the US has invaded far more countries than Russia. Far more.

People are not supporting Russia. Ukraine isn’t a State in America. Ukraine is another country much more Russian than the US, and we do not support UN intervention in another foreign war. Particularly with that fool who needs the Easter Bunny to lead him around, as CIC.

Your blind support of the people who will enslave you worse than Russia is what is really disturbing.

Correct Putin is threatening war. His speech where he said “All or none” is chilling. I don’t think that he cares if we threaten back.

They are not dealing with a logical normal person here. Putin has gone over the edge. Unless he is physically stopped we are going to get nuked.

“Yet it is NATO which has expanded into Russian orbit over the last 50 years”
If you assume Russia has a right to overlordship over peoples unfortunate enough to have Russia as a neighbor.
Do the Poles, Finns, Latvians have a right to self determination? Hard to say no.
Does their right to self determination include choosing to ally themselves with an outside power strong enough to deter aggression? Hard to say no.
Does the US have a responsibility to provide that outside protection? Of course not.
Once provided does the US have a responsibility to keep its word? Unfortunately yes.

Even back in 1960-1962 Kruschev knew the USSR would lose to the US if the US struck first with the nuclear missiles. Kruschev’s “I will bury them” speech was all bluster. He knew that they were not even close to the US/NATO when it came to nuclear capabilities.

The USSR would have been destroyed totally. Most of their missiles would be destroyed in their silos. However, some would be launched. Enough to still destroy many US and European cities and military complexes. So, their philosophy became quantity not quality. Sheer numbers of warheads.

historically, it would not be an unreasonable plan. when faced with certain political ruin at home otherwise, a war can turn the tables on a bad domestic situation.

this one would need to go nuclear, of course, or otherwise give them some way to meddle with normal elections. but that’s ok as long as they win, right?

ironically russia has been pointing out the severe economic issues the west is facing for weeks as a reason why the administration is so keen to escalate.

Russia says this while they prove to the world why you should never give up your nuclear weapons.

it does get mentioned, and quickly lost in the screaming and ad hominem attacks that FR has become.

speculation is they have satellite(s) able to do this.

great powers theory does seem to model the real world better than ‘all countries have equal rights’ theory.

Merscheimer has spoken extensively about it. ask any small country that got on the wrong side of the US if they agree.

Putin’s military has been exposed as weak paper tiger with substandard equipment and 19th century military tactics. His biggest fear should be of his own citizens when they find out how poorly their military performs which leads to the loss of their sons

“They are being tried by jury of peers Some are being found guilty, some are not.”

The jury pool as well as the judicial system in Washington DC is rabidly anti-Trump, anti-Republican, and anti-white yet you seem rather cavalier about the treatment the Jan6 protesters are receiving, like it’s no big deal. Only an anti-Trumper would have such an attitude. You simpleminded neocon war pigs need to be chased out of the party along with the RINO’s.

I especially like your thought we have to offer the Russian people something else. That’s where I think we have failed Russia since 1989, we quickly put them back in the enemy box (well Dems and RINOs—our kleptocrats ). It’s possible there would not even be a Putin if we would have welcomed them with open arms, increased trade, cultural exchange etc.

“Are they so desperate as to play the part of provoking a nuclear exchange with Russia?”

Yes. Their childish stupidity known no bounds.

“It’s really hard to tell now. The anti-USA lunatics and pro-Russian types are at least 1/3 of FR.

Lose one election and these ‘fair weather friends’ will stab the entire country in the back to support russia.”

Perhaps it would be helpful if you would list out the proper way to communicate that meets your level of “patriotic purity” so that people do not accidentally mention things that rattle your sensibilities. Please include what can be mentioned, and what must not be mentioned in order to be labeled sufficiently patriotic in your view. Be especially clear on how to avoid being “Pro-putin” so that everyone modify their behavior so that you can put them in the right bins for later adjudication.

It is very helpful to have people like you around to assign the proper label to people who are not sufficiently patriotic like you are.

And you have one guess as to who the next “legitimate target” would be after that.

I actually read a cool sci fi way back on the 89s..90s? In it a James Bond type is found in the CIA etc double agent trying to use a new time travel invention . They find out he has plans to go start a nuclear war with the USSR.

It’s a big long convoluted plot and he is one tough evil sneaky hombre. At the last second just as he is winning the good guy hero gets off a shot/miracle and he drops the 007 type.

Then at the end there is the most amazing plot twist I have ever read. Turns out the CIA guy is one of our own from our near future when we mutually destroy each other in a full scale nuclear war with the USSR. The only way they can prevent the extinction of humanity is to go back to the 60s and allow the nuclear war to happen at Cuba in 1962 as the USSR nuclear force is so over-rated we have an easy win with relatively small devastation. The author sort of got into details on how he thought they’d were very weak. (believe I’ve made this comment before so hope not to you) .

Can’t remember the author or title though.

I just watched the movie “The Currier” on Prime last night.

It is based on the true story of a British businessman/salesman in 1960 that was recruited by MI6 to contact a Soviet GRU officer willing to give up military secrets.
Over the next two years he brought back tremendous amounts of Soviet military information to the British/US intelligence agencies.

It was a very well done movie. Received a 85% Rotten Tomatoes score. I would recommend. It stars Benedict Cumberbunch as the British salesman.
