I admit to liking many of the things Levin has said over the years, but he has always had a bit of a deep state feel about him. I have not trusted him since he trashed Trump the first time Trump ran for president. I am beginning to think many so-called conservative commentators are deep state influences at different levels. For example Hanity's roll is deep state bubble gum for the mind of lower level thinking conservatives. Levin appeals to the more cerebral conservatives, but is a deep state influencer non the less.

These conservative influencers are always late to the party whether its globalism, pushing free trade, or border security first before any foreign interventions.
