Morgan Davis, a transgender man, says he loves his job, but could no longer do it in good faith
When the governor of Texas ordered childcare workers to investigate parents of transgender children, Morgan Davis thought he could be a force for good within the system.
But after working on his first case, the child welfare investigator quickly realized he had no choice but quit.
"Our directive is to protect children, and this seems to be doing the exact opposite," Davis, who is transgender, told As It Happens guest host Dave Seglins.
"These are parents trying to give their child the best medical advice, the best medical direction possible, and we are saying: 'You are incorrect.' We are saying, 'I want to know who your therapist is. I want to know who your doctor is.'"
Davis is one of more than a dozen employees to leave the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services over Gov. Greg Abbott's directive, according to the Texas Tribune.
The directive compels child welfare workers to investigate parents whose children have reportedly received gender-affirming medical care, like puberty blockers or hormones.

I don’t think that was his reason at all. He KNEW what he would find and didn’t want to investigate so he could not libel himself. If everything had been hunkey-dorey, he would have had no problems investigating and proving that the transgender parents were wonderful.
I have seen plenty of Christian parents get investigated and there has been no problems, they were exemplary. But you won’t investigate if you already know the answer.
If God says its a sin, its a sin regardless of your feelings. Let the reprobate walk.
No one is transgender. He/she is deluded and thinks he/she is she/he.

I’m glad this fake man and pedo groomer isn’t involved with children anymore. If they all quit, it’s a win-win for us all.
It seems to me, that for many of the alphabet people, their particular letter is the central feature and focus of their lives. I don’t think that’s particularly healthy, but I’m not a psychologist or psychiatrist. Morgan obviously thinks being transgender is just fine since she is a woman who is currently pretending to be a man. There was a time, not all that long ago, when such mentally disturbed people would not be allowed to be ‘child welfare’ workers.
