ussia launched an intercontinental missile in an apparent bid to scare those who "threaten" Moscow this afternoon (April 20). Russia is currently invading Ukraine and launched the ballistic missile, known as "Satan II" as a "warning", according to the Russian Ministry of Defence. The news comes from the Russian media who say that the launch of the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile was carried out at the Plesetsk cosmodrome.
It is reported that President Vladimir Putin said that the missile would provide "food for thought for those who try to threaten Russia", reported The Mirror. The missile is said to be able to fire up to 12 nuclear missiles all at once and has been especially designed to evade anti-missile systems. It is also capable of flying over six thousand miles and destroying an area that is the size of France.

You’re neglecting to take into account immigration/emigration rates, which are the other major element of population trends (along with death rates, but those stay pretty stable most of the time). The US always gains population through immigration, while Russia has been consistently losing population due to emigration.

He’s right in a way. Not nuclear destruction of course, but the West is now too corrupt to survive. It will go down, and needs to. Hyperinflation, decadence, economic collapse etc. This does not mean Russia will prosper or even survive. But the West sure as heck should not either.
Why not say it can launch 25 warheads, fly 200,000mph, stay airborne for a century and wipe out all of the US in one stroke.

Immigration only buys you time but at the expense of diluting and eventually replacing the society that created your civilization. Look at everything good in your country being labelled as “colonial and oppressive” now. You can’t import your way out of demographic decline by raiding less woke, more fertile societies, because the woke ideologies and corruption that’s causing the birth rate issues and societal decline. Large resource rich countries with smaller, more cohesive populations (like Russia) offer a better standard of living and have a future.

True, but only if you allow immigration from incompatible cultures and have no process or plans for assimilation. Either way, population growth is growth and population loss is loss. One leads to a pretty certain imminent disaster, while the other might lead to a disaster somewhere down the road. Pick your poison.

Your second sentence here contradicts the first sentence. Russia’s birth rate is worse than the US, so by your logic, this must be because Russia is more woke, and not less woke than the US. Which means they have less of a future than we do, again according to your own logic.
Or you could abandon this silly and contradictory logic and perhaps admit that the issue is a bit more complicated that just boiling everything down to a single variable and expecting the results to conform to reality.

Russia has aborted it’s way towards irrelevancy. China will overrun Siberia eventually, and there is nothing Russia can do about it aside from nuking China.

Anyway I think you are oversimplifying views of the US and Russia. Yes we have some bad trends here in the US, but we always have. We are fighting to correct them.
Russia puts some window dressing and builds a few churches, but they they are a bad culture. Thuggish and brutal and run by oligarchs. They pissed away a real chance to change after the wall came down.
Russia in no way is morally superior to the US. The US does more good in the world than any other nation, its not even close.
And yes we will correct the bad stuff going on here.
That’s 1993 Russia which was a terrible period of economic collapse with the west conspiring to destroy it and carve up the corpse for the west’s oligarchs. Putin guided the country through 2 years of hyperinflation and used the oligarchs in the beginning. He then turned on them jailing or exiling them. Todays Russia is much different- its awash in cash and resources and after 83 years of continuous embargoes is largely immune to sanctions. The world needs Russias oil and food, not the wests pronouns and CRT. We are utterly exposed and dependent on globalism-especially to foreign energy, foreign fertilizer and electronic chips but especially for China to buy our debts. We will all find out too late that this western embargo was just accelerating the suicide. We’re going to experience real hunger and real cold in the autumn. I wish people would wake up from their normalcy bias and see the reality of what’s coming.
No contradiction. Atheism and materialism (wokism) are behind low birth rates. Russia is coming out of it, and we are descending into it. I have no doubt they’ll surpass our birthrate in the future.
