There is no independent CDC under the Biden administration or under democrats.

The CDC is a component of the Executive Branch. How could it be independent of the Biden administration? I'd argue we shouldn't want it to be an independent entity unanswerable to the public in any form.

Also, this announcement doesn't change anything from yesterday. Yesterday, we were told the DOJ would appeal if the CDC determined the mask mandate is necessary. Today, we're told the same exact thing. The big question is what will the CDC do?

Just like the FBI, and the DOJ and the CIA, which are all supposed to be working for the well-being of the country. The FDA and CDC are supposed to be working for the American people, and not for a political agenda, which the CDC has been doing for over a year now.
