There are demons among us. It makes people uncomfortable and the natural reaction for many is to scoff at such a thought or to deride those who say it out loud, but its true. If there is another explanation I am all ears but these random acts of violence on strangers is beyond any rational explanation.

The attacker is mentally ill and requires treatment and / or confinement. He could be suffering from a brain tumor.

The evil that abounds is among those who've run the system into a such a financial hole that they don't keep these sick people confined anymore.
