A 15-year-old female student who was stabbed to death by a male intruder at a high school in California has been pictured.
Alicia Reynaga was allegedly attacked by 52-year-old Anthony Gray at Stagg High School in Stockton yesterday.
She was knifed multiple times before being rushed to hospital where she later passed away.

So then what would “proof” for God’s existence look like to you?

Actually I like better the analogy of us not capable of comprehending this higher being any more than an amoeba is able to comprehend us. Could be higher dimensions and/or senses that we don’t possess.

Well he could show up, look me in the face, do a few really big miracles, stop the war, cure cancer, answer some of the questions I asked in this thread and explain why he let that poor innocent girl tortured and murdered. Those types of things.
Why is he being so coy about his existence. He seems to be very preoccupied and gets rather angry if we don’t believe in him. So why not show up and convince even the most doubting Thomases. Seems like that would be the best for everyone. Everybody would then believe in him so he would be happy, and us humans wouldn’t have to worry about damnation.
Or am I being a bit too rational?
Sorry You went to far in your reading....my point is something happened to earths creation as suddenly the created earth is formless, empty, void, and dark. It was not until the 3rd verse God “let’’ there be light in that darkness and ‘that was called Good.’...nothing before then was called good.
I understand why you would reference the creation of man - but when I was asking your same questions I sought where it all began.( Assuming then their might be a “higher inteligence”), and with that the question of evil.

I think the real question is if there is a higher intelligence as you suspect there might be, why wouldn’t He be interested in what you have to say about Him?
So let me then say He most assuredly and with certainty is interested in what you have to say about Him regardless of not knowing “enough” about Him...and he most assuredly will answer your questions as you seek to know if He is or not.

As to meeting Him face to face I can guarantee that will happen in His timing. Further many people have been cured of cancer, ...Many wars have stopped over the centuries as well, and many people have been spared who have met the same torture of the girl you reference.

Well actually I let Him reveal to me what he chooses - and when. As has been said “When the student is ready God provides the Teacher”......that was many years ago...and the “Teacher” is still teaching me.

Probably for the same reason that I couldn’t care less what an amoeba thinks of me, and I didn’t even create the amoeba.
Now, if I had created an amoeba I would have created one that didn’t disrespect me if that was important to me. Why would I want to purposefully create something that made me unhappy? AND, moreover, then punish that creation of mine for behaving the way I designed it!! It’s the ultimate absurdity, don’t you think?
You're missing a lot. One Helluva lot, in fact. But it would be a waste of time to try to educate you. That is one thing that, if one can be sure of anything in this life, I am shock-sure of.
Nevertheless, I am compelled to try, so here is a hint/clue. This mortal life is all a test and a trial to see who is worthy of eternal life. That is why God gave us free will. It has all been clearly spelled out for those that have the desire and willingness to understand. How you conduct yourself in this mortal life you've been given will determine how and "where" you spend eternity, IOW. And from what I have come to know, it is never too late to ask God for forgiveness and to accept Jesus as your savior. It's a choice given to all.

What kind of sadistic game is your God playing?
So let’s say you were God and you had the power to create your children and make them anyway you want. Among them you would also knowingly (because you’re all knowing) create imperfect, even evil children, and then let them loose and watch them muddle through life seeing what kind of dumb choices they make and the ones who make the least stupid choices you let them back into your garden forever, doing what I don’t know, while condemning the rest (also your children, who you knowingly created imperfect) to burn forever in hell.
So, would you as a parent enjoy such a sadistic game? And to what end?
Why not just create only well behaved kids (since it’s within your power) from the get go and let them live in your paradise forever and dispense with all the suffering?

Well you weren’t created in the likeness of an ameba - you were created in the image and likeness of God. So you’re actually closer to God than you’ve imagined....He certainly is to you...you just haven’t recognized Him yet.
So can we put that ‘ameba’ thing aside and perhaps understand He designed us to communicate with...at last you might think it’s possible?
I wouldn’t agree with that poster either - so you’re right to have challenged his/her statement....... If it was about ‘testing’ to see who is worthy of eternal life we’d all fail.....and do. Only one man met perfection.

No, belief in Jesus Christ as our savior and redeemer is the test. Those that come to believe will be saved. Those that do not will not be saved. THAT is the “test”.
