He’s likely right. Leadership is always RINOs.

....sad, but true....I read someplace months ago that he has wet dreams about becoming Speaker some day....not sure he is the right person for the job, but also read that Adam “Pencil-neck” Schiff also covets that job if the Dems keep the House....”Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst” as that old expression goes.....

Paul Ryan II. Lots of talk about doing “something”, but in the end it will be all about protecting the status quo.

It’s more akin to a position that needs filled because there are no Republicans capable of leading anything in the US congress. They are timid rabbits scared of their own shadows, the media and their good friends from across the aisle. Offensive and aggressive GOP leadership actually scares them into crapping their pants. Reagan and Trump were on the offense and the GOP congress could rarely be counted on to have their backs.

The GOP should win the House in 2024 and maybe even the senate, but I expect absolutely nothing out of them from these victories just like in 2010 and 2014, they will go along to get along with their Democrat friends. All the GOP cares about is the perks and $ that flow from being the majority party, they never plan on keeping campaign promises and run from every single fight.

All that being said I will hold my nose and vote for Rand Paul in the fall because sometimes he votes conservative, but I cannot vote for Hal Rogers for the House, he’s the Robert Byrd of Kentucky, blank slot on that one. I hold no illusions of the GOP doing anything should they win.
