Have you found somewhere where the fatalities and any survivors are numbered? On a human level, I feel sorry for any sailor from any side who is trapped in a burning ship, but I am glad this ship has been eliminated from Putin’s service (Putin and his henchmen). I imagine Russia cannot easily afford to replace such a ship.

Maybe Putin’s fiasco in Ukraine will do for his regime what the fiasco in Afghanistan eventually helped to do for the Soviet Union.

Know more tomorrow. Supposedly 54 rescued and 450+ went down with the ship.

There were around 500 sailors onboard according to open sources. There was a 20 minute window of radio traffic and then it stopped. Also, it was in the middle of the night, in high seas with a storm overhead. The water temperature is not survivable either. Losses will be high.
