“Either you know nothing about history or you are just repeating Russian talking points. Which one is it? “
I am quite adept at history.
Perhaps you know of another time when Ukraine was an actual country, and independent of Russia or one of its other neighbors?
No. You don’t.
Nice try. You put in a new condition, made up by you - "independent" of one of its neighbors.
Ukraine was independent in 1918, and the 1920 Treaty of Warsaw also recognized its independence.
Why is the hair splitting about Ukraine's history even important? You know Germany's boundaries have changed over time, and parts of our own nation belonged to other nations in the past.
Would it be OK for Russia to invade Alaska since it was part of Russia previously?
Is it OK for illegal immigrants from Mexico to pour across our border because they are really just going to lands that used to be part of Mexico?
