The US should send Ukraine all the weapons it asks for as Russia’s invasion reaches a pivotal moment that could change the outcome of the war, some policy analysts and lawmakers said Friday.

Ukrainians have mounted a fiercer resistance to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invading forces than expected — and the West could sway the war decisively in Ukraine’s favor by supplying its fighters with heavy-duty weapons now, according to experts.

Ukraine involves a real threat to American interests.

It’s a strategically located country with vast resources. If it falls to Russia, Putin will be better positioned and encouraged to undermine and eventually attack Poland and then Germany. Europe is essential to our economy and our security.

And the Chinese are watching Biden’s weakness. If he let’s Russia grab Ukraine, China will be emboldened to grab Taiwan, which is incredibly strategic in Asia.

This is about American security. Yes I care about the Ukrainians, but I want us to help them because our interests are at stake.
