I didn't. I was diagnosed with bowel cancer after a colonoscopy (which my GP had referred me for 2 weeks before after being concerned about my rapidly falling blood iron levels), was in surgery 3 weeks later. Then I had boot and braces chemotherapy for 8 months after, as it had spread to local lymph nodes.
That was 6 years ago.
Every use of NHS services, from my father's stroke to my son's birth and my mother's illness has been exemplary and quick. Sorry if that's off-message.
The exception that proves the rule. Everyone doesn’t have the same experience and that’s not the point. Here in the US I have been given long wait times to see a doctor, and in those cases I just find a different doctor because it is specific to that doctor, not the system.
Every doctor is competing with every other doctor, although the Democrats are working mightily to change that to one system so it can be under their thumb.
Then it will be “free” and still not worth what you pay at the point of service because Democrats defile anything they can’t destroy.
