Many Ukrainians were sadly very naive and trusted Russian lies. Those who didn’t were slandered as warmongers.
There are no “pro-Russians” left in Ukraine now, but the ones who were called that moniker were not in favor of what Russia has revealed itself to be. They were just naive about Russia, believed Russian lies and thought Russia would never do something like that.
