To be fair, there is still internet coverage over a lot of Ukraine, even those areas close to the fighting.We have a friend in Mykolaiv (she can't leave as her mum is too frail) and she still sends us messages.

There are a couple reasons the internet still works in much of Ukraine.
1. Russia doesn't have their own communication system and they need Ukraine's wifi.
2.Starlink. Look it up.
3.Some they can access from surrounding countries.
4. Ukraine is doing a great job keeping their wifi running.
If Russia was going scorched earth, Ukraine would have their utilities cut off, transportation hubs destroyed, crops destroyed, water plants captured.
But life still goes on in Ukraine. Some pictures and video get out. You need to wonder, just what exactly is going on over there?
