The thing is that I have seen very few copies of things ever posted from Truth Social out there in the real world. And it is not accessible even in a read only mode for those who are not members. Therefore Truth Social has no effect on the world.

Let's say that the app reaches 5 Million "real people" users - discounting the NASCAR account or Babylon Bee. If those are equally split among Congressional districts, that's more than 11K for each district (and yeah, I know they may not be equally split).
If the app increases capability to link users in the same district... now Trump has a networked army in each and every one... and he owns every bit of the data associated.
A powerful boots-on-the-ground grassroots network in the digital age? This is how to build one. I bet the RNC (or DNC) would kill for something equivalent.
What's now derided as a failure could turn out to be a shockingly powerful political tool.
