3 Baltic states ‘togther’ - population of about 6 million - and ‘together’ about the size of Missouri.
The Baltics have moved very quickly. A month ago 100% of their energy exports were from Russia. Now it is 0%. Being small coastal countries makes it easier.
UK and a few others that didn’t have much need for Russian fuel have done the same. I expect several more countries will follow in the next months as they secure alternative supplies.
Germany has the hardest task, it will be some years before they can wean themselves from Russian oil and gas.
Then you Putinists shouldn't be so butt hurt about them refusing to buy your gas.
Putin can sell to the Chinese! Oh, wait, the're already having to sell at a massive discount to the ChiComs, huh. :(

Thanks for doing the math, I knew it was a low number. They represent a bit over 1% of Europe’s population. Heck, with a big bunch of money, we could get 1% of our population completely off the carbon-based grid with solar/wind/battery farms (several Trillion dollars for 1% of our population, the cost of one of Biden’s many ‘stimulus’ bills). The problem is the next 99%...or even the next 9%.
