I’m still on their waitlist #439681. It is like taking a number at the deli counter on the Friday before the super bowl.
So far, the platform works about like Twitter did in terms of how to post, follow, etc, but people are a lot more friendly.
There are lags sometimes, or other hitches, but they get worked out pretty quickly. I can kinda see why they didn't open the floodgates to millions immediately.
Lots of veterans, and that's fun for me. Almost all of the postings are political in nature, but some other things are beginning to show in people's posts, too. Pretty pictures, stuff like that.
Is it the be-all-end-all? No, but it's fun.
It's also different from Twitter in that most "regular" people follow back. This is going to be a huge grassroots connection tool - conservatives talking to each other without filters and algorithms.
