I am not calling out any one person... I understand an executive can’t know every detail of every item, that’s impossible to do in a large org. However, there is no excuse for the situation...

What is inexcusable, and this one does go all the way up to Nunes level, is the clear and complete lack of communication. You have a waiting list of over half a million, who have been waiting well over a month now, and none of them have heard anything and some of them have watched their number in the queue actually increase.

I know these types of systems aren’t simple, they are complicated and hard... almost anything at scale is. However, the scale of this is something that should have been anticipated from the start, and its clear that just basic fundamental things were not done... and now that its beyond obvious they haven’t been done and the price is being paid for it, they are compounding the problem by not communicating.

Nunes should be communicating to those people waiting, and they are getting nothing.... Even if the communication is we are still working on the problems. The fact no communication at all is coming out of the organization shows just how inept the leadership is.

In a month, whoever is steering this ship, (and frankly I suspect Nunes is just a prop and has no idea how to run anything other than perhaps a farm, He got his masters in agriculture 95, and was elected to office in 2002, and has been in politics ever since. He has absolutely no experience in technology, and I really doubt he’s got any experience building anything from the ground up, technology or otherwise) even if he’s been getting bad information from his lackies, should know its a mess and have started execution of actions to correct the ship, by 5 weeks there should be progress noticeable, and not a single peep from TS on anything.

Understand I am not bashing the engineers, they could be geniuses for all we know, but it’s clear the folks in the seats that make decisions are not competent.

Oh, and for those who are trying to tell me I am not correct, I leave you with this nugget, last mass communication I am aware of from Nunes regarding Truth Social was they would be fully operational by the end of March... which just so happens to be TODAY... and they are not remotely fully operational.

I am as big of a supporter of Trump and America First as anyone, I was one of the earliest supporters of him here on FR, so this you are just a Trump Hater if you say anything negative about Truth Social is nonsense. This has been a fustercluck by any measure, and if it keeps dragging on for months, it will be put in the same category as the Obamacare web site launch.

I totally agree with you I was a very early Trump Supporter love the guy want him back in the WH.

Why he chose the path he took on this adventure is a mystery. With all that is a stake it’s a real head scratcher.

Please don’t misunderstand me you are one of the only persons here that can see through the weeds and I appreciate your perspectives.

I think the whole platform should be taken down and re-engineered properly. Set a realistic start date and put the proper people in the correct positions. Let’s take our punches now and do this right. The way it’s going it will be a year before it’s working if even that quickly.

Well stated and I agree entirely. They blew it, there are no do-overs without some transparency, and doesn’t look like we’re going to get it. I worked in IT since the 80s and, well, this does look like a repeat of Obamacare. A shame Trump’s name and reputation is attached to it.
