It’s the Internet Archive cached version of the article on the KP website. The original URL is right there at the top of the page, linked with the article still active.
KP wrote it and then scrubbed it. The internet archive serves cached versions of pages. Both KP and archive.today are real. You can also use the archive to bypass paywalls, try it some time.
The KP article on kp.ru as originally written was visible, I saw it when the story first came out.
It was either the writer burying at the end of an article praising Russia’s performance in their ‘special operation’ or it was a hack, but it was on kp.ru. The MOD hasn’t updated its casualty figures in weeks.
