praying for a complete, full and swift healing. Thank you Jesus for your PROMISE that we are already healed as believers in You and we just need to receive it.
Everybody dies.
Christians die just the same way everyone else does.
I have attended hundreds and hundreds of dying patients in my career and have been at the bedside for several dozen at the moment of death. The belief that someone died because they didn't believe enough, or didn't believe hard enough, or believed the wrong way, is one of the worst, most hurtful, and at the end of the day false and heretical beliefs I could even imagine.
I worked at a cancer hospital at one point, and there was always some nut parading around outside preaching this heresy.
Jesus NEVER promised that his followers would live forever, that they wouldn't get sick, that their flesh would be immune to all the ailments that atheists, tax collectors, and idolaters suffer from.
He promised eternal life for his followers, but not in their earthly bodies in this realm.
Mr. Justice Thomas is 73 years old with co-morbidities. If he gets good care, he should survive most infections, but mortality from infection starts to climb at about his age, and it would be very bad to lose him at this critical moment in our country's history.
