Same here. And I think Putin is going to roll the dice that there will not be a strategic nuke response by NATO in retaliation.

NATO would HAVE to respond though, wouldn’t they? I don’t think they would go strategic either. This kind of escalation would be a “tit for tat” and I hope NATO has a selection of options on the books and ready to go.

I think at least, the origin of the launch would need to be neutralized. We could do that with cruise missiles.

The world wide condemnation would be something to behold. But I don’t think Putin would care. At that point, he has to know that...and decide to do it anyway.
