Fauci understands that Rats will lose control of Congress and serious investigations will begin. He thinks he will avoid culpability if he retires.
I don’t trust the republicans anymore than the dems, with a few exceptions.
What replaces him could be more diabolical, much younger, and more corrupt.
Endless “investigations” lead to zero, zip, nada. Fauci will retire with a huge pension and sleep well at night knowing he can’t be touched.
