Or, you can believe history, if you choose to. The Russians have a solid record of war atrocities. All Asians have.

They have cell phones, and they record video. Most of it is more gruesome than Americans are used to seeing, so it doesn't get broadcast widely.

Here is a video of dead civilians in a car.

You can watch the evacuation of civilians from an active battle in Irpin just outside Kyiv this video. Note the explosions in the background just across the river in Irpin.

If you want to watch you can see lots of video of civilians and soldiers getting killed, and dead bodies, and body parts, and the IDs of dead soldiers. Most people prefer not to watch that kind of thing. So here are videos of looting.
